For Mia Khalifa, expensive sneakers are for walking in, not for keeping in a box. In a January 2023 Hypebeast interview she explained why her rarest pairs get worn every day and dropped into airport security trays, and that conversation is the backbone of this guide. Mia Khalifa is a media personality and creator, born in Beirut and raised in the United States, who has worked as a sports commentator and has become a regular name in streetwear and fashion coverage.

Mia Khalifa Feet and Sneakers in Her Own Words

Hypebeast published the interview on 21 January 2023 as part of its Sole Mates series, with a photoshoot at her holiday home in an English seaside town. She said her first serious pair was the fragment design x Travis Scott x Nike Air Jordan 1 High. After spending that much on a pair of shoes, she said, she could not stand the idea of not wearing them.

When she first posted a photo in them, people were upset that she was bending the toe box. Her answer was simple. She asked how else you are supposed to walk in shoes.

From Heels and Rick Owens Boots to Sneakers

Before that purchase, she told Hypebeast, her shopping centred on heels and statement boots, and she named a pair of thigh high hot pink Rick Owens boots she owns. Once the Jordans arrived she started checking which sneakers were available instead.

Her first visit to a sneaker store had ended with a pair of YEEZY Slides, after friends took her into a back room full of pairs priced in the tens of thousands. Her next two purchases came together, the Nike SB Dunk Low What the Dunk and the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low Reverse Mocha. She said it had become too cold to travel in slides and she wanted something softer.

Why the What the Dunk Became Her Everyday Pair

For the Hypebeast shoot she wore the What the Dunk with an A1 Denim x Soho Yacht Club jacket and trousers, a Yoshitomo Nara x Stella McCartney shirt and a Supreme hat. She said she loves the patchwork design and its Grateful Dead references, and that the shoe works as a neutral because so much of it is red. She was surprised by how often she reached for them.

The pair also changed how she styled herself for work. She said she would not previously have worn sneakers in a campaign, but she chose the Reverse Mocha Travis Scotts for one shoot because she needed a neutral shoe that still stood out. She also described dropping her Travis Scotts into airport security trays and praised people who wear sneakers with a suit, since a busy person is not going to carry a second pair.

None of these pairs came through a sponsorship that she mentioned. She described buying them herself.

Aries, Sheytan and Paris Fashion Week

Her fashion work grew in the same period. London label Aries cast her in its Fall/Winter 2023 campaign and published a photo book called Mia by Aries, shot in Whitstable by Clare Shilland with the campaign images by Conor Cunningham, Hypebae reported in January 2023. Founder Sofia Prantera called her a muse. Hypebeast reported that she attended Louis Vuitton and other shows at Paris Fashion Week that month.

In June 2023 she launched Sheytan, a jewellery line created with Sara Burn, a former collaborator of Virgil Abloh, according to The Business of Fashion. Neither the Aries campaign nor the jewellery launch credited a shoe brand.

Sports Commentary and Screen Work

Away from fashion, she is known for her sports fandom, especially for teams from the Washington area. From October 2017 to February 2018 she cohosted Out of Bounds, a daily sports show on Complex’s YouTube channel, with former NBA guard Gilbert Arenas. She then cohosted Sportsball with Tyler Coe on Rooster Teeth until October 2018.

She made a guest appearance as herself in the Hulu series Ramy in 2020 and a cameo in a 2021 Bella Poarch music video. The New York Times Magazine published a long interview with her in October 2024 about money, work and activism.

Mia Khalifa Feet Pics, Fan Galleries and Reliable Sources

Many searches that include her name also add words like toes and foot, or the names of fan gallery sites. Those galleries are uploaded by strangers. They are not run by Mia Khalifa and have no connection to her, the photos are often undated or cropped from older material, and FeetFinder does not link to them or recommend them.

The dependable source is her own Instagram account, @miakhalifa. The three posts embedded on this page come from that account and date from March to May 2021, a spring when she shared a run of outfit photos, two of them credited to the photographer Bonjwing. Press photos from fashion weeks and campaign images credited to brands such as Aries are the other reliable references for Mia Khalifa feet pics.

Her own habits offer one more clue. The pairs she has named, from the What the Dunk to the Reverse Mocha Jordans, are distinctive designs she wears as everyday shoes, so a photo can sometimes be matched to a specific pair and then to a dated post or shoot. A picture that matches nothing she has shown, and carries no date, is one to leave alone.
